I think we can certainly agree that 2020 was a year unlike no other. From mastering the art of handwashing for a solid 30 seconds to discovering newfound hobbies, it was def a year of unexpected lessons and surprising revelations. Here are my six key takeaways from the rollercoaster ride that was 2020.

1. We've all heard the saying "things take time," and I've realized that even natural talent requires practice and improvement. You don't have to be naturally good at something to become good at that very thing.
Side note: You also don't need to be in a rush to reach a certain level of mastery simply because you're learning at a different rate or starting later than everyone else. You will get there, you can develop the skills, not being where you want to be knowledge, talent, skill, physique etc. wise, reminds you that everything is a process.
2. You don't have to have everything figured out, just believe in yourself, have some confidence, and enjoy the process of becoming.
3. Make the best decisions for yourself and don't second guess them. Own them. You made that decision for a reason. Don't be afraid to make sound decisions and be proud of the decisions that you make.
4. Skincare is like exercise, in order to see results you have to be consistent and patient.
5. The option to create is always there even when motivation is not.
& lastly,
6. God ALWAYS comes through.
If you haven't done so, take a moment to stop & reflect on the things 2020 taught you because what a time that was.
