Summer is here and nothing says summer like bright pops of color. By default, I always gravitate towards muted shades of brown when doing eyeshadow. Most of the time, I'll take my contour shade, place that in my crease and that's it, that's the look. Every now and then, I like to try something new and that's when I grab my BH Cosmetics: Take Me Back To Brazil Palette. This palette is my bestfriend when it comes to bold colors that make a statement, because there are 35 colorful shades to choose from.
Inspired by the vibrant, blossoming hues of the summer season, I grabbed my makeup palette and the green tones in the palette drew me in. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I took a chance and did it anyway. Despite the looks boldness, and vibrancy, it was wearable and that was my goal. I always balance out dramatic, vibrant looks like this one with a neutral lip. A nude lip flawlessly brings the entire bright eyeshadow look together. On the other side, a dramatic, bold lip would have overpowered the eye look. It all comes down to personal preference and that's mine. Remember, there are no rules in makeup.
